Chips and your tower
More $TOWER, a taller tower
Your tower is your holding, drawn as a building. Every floor earns a share of the city's yield every hour, so the more floors you have, the more you earn.
- 1 floor per 0.04%
- Up to 48 floors
- Paid in chips
Floors
Floors come from your $TOWER
One floor for every 0.04% of all $TOWER, in a straight line: hold twice as much and you have twice the floors, up to 48. Past the top your building stops growing, but your $TOWER keeps counting: each floor's worth above it counts as much as an empty floor.
- What counts: the $TOWER in your wallet plus the chips you hold, because a chip is a $TOWER kept for you. We call it your foundation. Bonus chips don't count, and chips you spend or lose stop counting. Stonk Market shares you hold keep counting, at what they would sell for now.
- The part left over is your next floor, going up under a crane. It earns its share while it is built, and a company can move in once it is at least 5% built, paying for the part that is built and earning on that part.
- Sell some $TOWER (or spend chips) and the floors above your new count go dormant: they keep their company and level, and wake up when you grow back.
Four kinds of floor
What each floor is worth
Every floor counts for something in the hourly split. A company floor counts for much more, and its count moves with its company's day.
Vacant
The "for lease" office. Counts 1. Move a company in to make it earn properly.
Company floor
Counts 3 at level 1 and 2 more each level, then today's move on top.
Companies and the marketUnder construction
The part of a floor your holding hasn't finished. It counts the part that is built.
Dormant
Above your holding after you sell. Keeps its company and level, counts nothing until you grow back.
Every hour
A share of the city's yield
Every hour, a slice of the city's yield pool (3% of it) is paid out. 10% of the slice goes to the wage pot, and the rest is split between the towers that are lit, by what their floors count.
It is one pot shared by everyone. When you add floors or companies your slice grows, and everyone else's shrinks a little. When others build, the same happens the other way.
An hour is paid on the least you held during it, so $TOWER sold or chips spent mid-hour count from that hour on.
The pool is $TOWER bought every 15 minutes with the token's trading fees. How, and why it is biggest while the coin is new: the city economy.
Collect
Collect, and stay lit
Yield waits at your tower until you press Collect. Then it drops into your chips, and your tower stays lit for another 12 hours.
A dark tower earns nothing that hour, and yield left waiting for 24 hours is gone. So come back at least every 12 hours.
You can collect from your tower's page, from the Tower app on your phone, and every time you claim a job.
Boosts
Count for more
Two things make your floors count for more in the split, on top of the companies in them.
Fair shares
Why one whale can't take the city
The pot is shared, so a few limits keep it shared.
- No tower takes more than 15% of an hour's pool, however tall. What that leaves unpaid stays in the yield pool for later hours.
Tiers
Storefront to Megatower
As your tower grows it climbs five tiers. Every floor is a point and every company floor one more. Tiers change how it looks, not what it earns: brass in the lobby, gold trim and marquee bulbs, a red carpet and neon, then a fountain, searchlights and a crowned spire.

Two ways to grow
