15. Names, chat and ads
You are responsible for what you write, name or upload in the game: your tower's and your character's names, chat messages, ad faces on the city's boards, and anything else.
It stays yours. You give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, show, resize, re-encode and reproduce it in the game and in showing the game (screenshots, trailers, streams), for as long as it is in the game and a reasonable time after.
Public means public. Names, towers, public chat, ads and leaderboards are seen by other players. Approved ad pictures are stored on IPFS, a public network: once a picture is published there, copies can persist outside our control even after we take it down.
Chat and uploads are screened automatically, players can report what they see, and people on the team review reports. Content can be refused, hidden or removed, and an account muted or stopped from advertising, as the section on fair play says. The city's boards are our space: we decide what runs on them, and an ad face can be refused without a detailed reason.
Invites. If you join from another player's invite link, that player earns chips from what the house keeps from your play, for as long as you play. It costs you nothing, your balance and winnings are never touched, and they see only that you joined, when you first deposited and what it earned them.
What the game keeps of your messages, and who can read them, is in the Privacy Notice.
